In effetti riguardo a tutti i termini riguardanti password, chiavi ecc. c'è da sbattere non poco la testa. "Frase di sicurezza" in effetti sarebbe la traduzione più corretta ma nel fare un breve sondaggio personale tra conoscenti ho constatato una certa perplessità (solo dopo molti sforzi qualcuno ha capito che si trattava sostanzialmente di una password) Rendere tutto con "Password" risulterebbe di certo più comprensibile anche se perderebbe l'aspetto istruttivo presente in "Passphrase" che in effetti in originale comunica immediatamente la necessità di utilizzare una sequenza di una certa lunghezza e complessità. In alcuni casi si potrebbe optare per "Password robusta" ma la presenza dell'aggettivo suona davvero male nei testi assemblati automaticamente

Penso che il focus principale debba essere la comprensibilità: giusto tradurre il più possibile in italiano ma in certi casi, soprattutto quando si parla di termini tecnici, non si può far meno di osservare che anche in Italia vi sono termini inglesi più diffusi del loro corrispettivo italiano. Questo perché impostisi nel tempo, per un fattore estetico, perché connotano meglio l'oggetto o perché usando tali termini in inglese , online si interagisce meglio con l'utenza straniera che a sua volta utilizza gli stessi termini. Nel caso degli "Sticker" il termine è ben noto e grazie alla presenza del termine su altre applicazioni che ne fanno uso, come Telegram, risulta decisamente più comprensibile di "adesivi". Ma soprattutto v'è il fatto che su Element questi sono gestiti da un widget che si chiama "Stickerpack": chiamarli "Adesivi" e poi lasciare che l'utente capisca che per impostarli deve andare su "Stickerpack" risulta decisamente meno intuitivo che usare "Sticker" fin dall'inizio.
